About the Middle School Classroom Teacher Elementary classroom teacher Position

Come teach where East meets West! We are looking for an elementary classroom teacher, who will teach core subjects to a combined class of grades 3 and 4 with about 10-15 students total. The language of instruction is English. Academics are based on an American curricular foundation, but a combination of American, British, and school-created curriculum is used. Native English fluency and a minimum of a BA in Education or Elementary education is required. A trained teacher with 1-2 years of experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with teaching hours 9:00-3:00 daily, but includes several planning periods. Teachers are also required to attend a weekly staff meeting and occasional school special events.

International School of the Caucasus (ISC) is a small K-12 school in Central Asia with 80 students from 10 different nationalities, and about 20 faculty members. ISC was founded in 2005 with the primary focus of educating children of families called to ministry in this region, thereby enabling families to remain on the field. Academics are based on an American curricular foundation. Group sizes are small and some classes are taught in combined grades.
